The current climate in the GCC region is filled with uncertainty and tension. Women here face a unique set of challenges as missiles are fired (but intercepted), remote work blurs the lines between home and office, and the constant worry about jobs and bills weighs heavily. Coping with conflict in the UAE has not been easy for many. On top of this, social media bombards them with nonstop news, often about conflicts far away, like the ongoing war in Lebanon, where many have friends and family. This constant state of alertness is taking a toll on mental health, leaving many feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.
